The 10 Best Ice Skating Rinks in Long Beach (2026)
This list ranks the best ice skating rinks relevant to Long Beach based on Google review data, updated for 2026. We use a Bayesian-style score that balances average rating with review volume so highly reviewed spots with many opinions rise to the top while newer entries with few ratings don’t skew results. Long Beach sits near several indoor and seasonal skating options across neighboring cities, so this guide covers venues you can realistically reach from the city for lessons, open skate, or youth hockey. The aim is practical: dependable places to consider, grounded in current public reviews.
This ranking is computed from Google reviews (our method). Listings marked Partner are paid advertising spots: they sit alongside the ranking without changing its order.

Frequently asked questions
How did you choose these ice skating rinks?
We ranked venues using a Google-based Bayesian score that weights each place’s average rating by the number of reviews. That method favors consistently high ratings supported by many reviewers while reducing the impact of small sample sizes.
What should I check before visiting an ice rink?
Confirm public skate hours, rental availability and any age or footwear restrictions by phone or the venue’s website. Also check whether sessions require advance reservations and if special events or lessons affect open-skate times.
How much does a typical public skate session cost?
Prices vary by rink, time of day and whether skate rental is needed; expect different rates for children and adults and additional charges for rentals. Contact the rink directly for current fees and any package deals.
When is the best time to call a rink?
Call during weekday business hours for quickest responses about schedules and reservations; evenings or weekends are often busiest and may have limited phone coverage. For urgent questions, check the rink’s official site or social channels for updates first.
